Task
Capitol Hardwood Floors needed a recognizable brand to represent their abilities in hardwood flooring. They requested a typographical logo with an upscale feel.
Solution
The icon is a stylized abbreviation of Capitol Hardwood Floors (CHF). The C and H are merged together representing an ornate flooring pattern and to maintain the perfect square pattern. Traditional flooring and refinishing is represented by the stylized F which makes a standard floorboard pattern.
