Task

Our final in Icon design was to create a self portrait as an icon. Then we were to create additional icons to describe our selves. We were only allowed two colors plus tint. These icons had to be scalable. They must be recognizable at 1/2” or smaller.

Solution

I began with identifying my strong facial attributes. I then exaggerated these features. I used pure shapes to guarantee scalability. I chose colors that represent my personality. Lastly I gave my portrait a recognizable expression.
