Task

Surf City Beach Cruisers was an exercise in creating a new UI design for an existing company. The poorly designed website was chosen by the instructor. All students were to individually take the content from the existing site and develop an improved concept. This exercise required a desktop based mock-up as well as a mobile optimized version.

Solution

My design greatly simplifies the navigation of the website. Instead of a large confusing site map the products are separated into two categories. Cruisers and Gear. The interior page would consist of a check-box filtered search system. This would make the navigation simplistic and efficient.
